So the thought occurred to me last night that perhaps I don’t want to stick out the rest of my life doing computer work. The thought occurred to me that I like taking pictures a lot, that I like to follow events, that even though I don’t blog as much as I used to, I still like to document things in other ways.
So the thought occurred to me last night that maybe… I could try something else. J-School. Something I hadn’t planned on doing, or at least, something I hadn’t thought of doing since early in high school when I hadn’t a clue to what I’d like in my future. (Do I even have a clue now?)
Hah. Sara just kept having me on a ramble about what I wanted to do and stuff and look at what happened… XD
I was 99% sure of things… Then that 1% happened.
Tomorrow morning I’ll talk to the Honors College advisors to see what they think about this. I’d rather dual-major and pull a 5-year plan, but we’ll see if that’s even reasonable…
Being as computer savy as you are, add that with photography and journalism, and you are way ahead of a lot of people already over there. They’re actually just starting a convergence program where you can major in the all of the journalism sequences, and they say by the time we’re juniors the building will be completed and they will have a convergence lab. I say most definatly check into it….
Oh come on - I didn’t mean to totally change your whole “life plan” just by making you talk to me, you goober! lol I definitely have the utmost faith in you for the future. May the force be with you ; )
